SISTERS OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
During the month of February 2006, SIB celebrated
Black History and the Grand Opening of its "SISTERS-IN-BUSINESS.COM NETWORK.
SIB paid special tribute to the "legacy and livelihood" of African-American
Women Business Owners.
Today we would like to recognize all the strides
and accomplishments made by the many women entrepreneurs throughout U.S.
history; the contributions they have made to sisterhood, and their great value
in the business economy, and society as a whole.

NEWS HEADLINES
2nd Annual Empowerment Expo Successful.2
The Sisters In Business.Net
"2nd Annual Business Women's Empowerment Luncheon & Business
Showcase" held June 8, 2007 at
the Chattanooga Convention Center was version two of the company's
success with the event--given sellouts of both luncheon and exhibitor tables
and outstanding feedback from those in attendance!
The event served as an empowerment luncheon, business tradeshow, and
youth fundraiser, benefiting Girls Inc.
 |
|
Dr.
Carolyn Bibbs of Creative Life Incorporated in Memphis,
Tennessee, and SIB Lifetime Member, empowered all in attendance
at the SIB 2nd Annual Business Women's Empowerment
Luncheon and Business Showcase.
|
The event
featured dynamic Keynote
Speaker Dr. Carolyn Bibbs of Creative
Life Inc in Memphis, Tennessee; and art display and silent
auction sponsored by internationally renowned artist Synthia SAINT JAMES.
Synthia
Saint James is the

Postal Stamp for the United States Postal Service.
She
donated a very special piece of her art collection,
called "Empowerment", for the SIB 2nd Annnual Empowerment Event, and

SIB Lifetime Member.
Empowerment was the keyword used in a search engine by
SIB owner Tekelia Kelly that ironically sparked Synthia Saint James'
and Tekelia Kelly's paths to cross.

Saint James and to see her art.
The luncheon was truly
"EMPOWERING" as Dr. Carolyn Bibbs gave
an inspirational message about not just being a dreamer of dreams, but a "Dream Maker"
of business and life dreams. Dr. Bibbs is also a
SIB Lifetime Member.
